This international conference which takes place on 15 – 17 July 2014 examines the creative potential of interdisciplinarity, exploring how the comparison and exchange of disciplinary approaches can offer fresh insights and spark new lines of thought, not only complementing the strengths of more focused disciplinary approaches, but also comprising an important part of the process through which all disciplines negotiate, develop and transform over time.
The call for papers is now open. Paper abstracts should be no more than 300 words in length, and should be submitted by 30 January 2014 using Easy Chair (see: https://www.dur.ac.uk/ias/2014conference/callforpapers/ for detailed instructions). Papers can be proposed with a view to being included in a specific panel (please state preferences clearly), or can simply be submitted, in which case the conference committee will direct them towards appropriate panels, or into a more general event.
If you have any queries please contact the Conference Administrator Linda Crowe (firstname.lastname@example.org).
